Sunflower in dry and irrigated land

The application of FILL MAX in different varieties of sunflower both in dry and irrigated land has allowed to increase yield in the 3 trials carried out. The oil economic yield in the dry land field has been lower in the FILL MAX variant, while in the irrigated fields it has been higher. The oil production has been greater in the variants treated with FILL MAX.

Crop: sunflower, varieties Cadix in dry land; Gibraltar and Pioneer HE119 in irrigated land.
Planting density: 60,000 plants/ha in rainfed crop and 95,000 plants/ha in irrigated crop.
Location: 3 fields in the provinces of Cuenca (Castilla la Mancha), Valladolid (Castilla y León) and Badajoz (Extremadura).
Sowing Date: April 2017
Irrigation: dry land trial No 1 and drip irrigation in trials No 2 and No 3.
Harvesting date: October 2017
Trial Design:
- CONTROL: traditional wheat crop management.
- Perform control crop management plus two foliar applications of FILL MAX. Foliar application at 0.5 L/ha in DRY LAND and 1L/ha in IRRIGATED LAND. The first application during plant development and the second at the beginning of blooming.
