Objetivos
General:
To design a natural formulation with phytotoxic/herbicidal activity, with an efficacy comparable to that of glyphosate, through biotechnological conversion based on active ingredients obtained from agroindustrial by-products.
Specifics:
- Development and optimization of primary biomass resources conversion processes.
- Optimization, scaling and validation of biotechnological extraction and fermentation processes of active ingredients from biomass resources.
- Chemical (metabolomic profiles) and biological (herbicidal activity) characterization of the extracted active ingredients.
- Design of prototype preformulates and final formulations of bioherbicidal compositions.
- Chemical and biological characterization on a laboratory level and validation of the herbicidal efficacy of the formulation obtained.
